obsessin' over essie

I can't seem to keep nail polish on my nails longer than a day. It's not that they chip, or peel, or break. It's more so the fact that I get bored. Polish, to me, is the same as clothing. I wouldn't wear the same thing two days in a row, so why would I put my fingertips through that? My friends typically poke fun at me because I match my polish to my outfits. It's a bit extravagant, but we all have our silly quirks.

It's fun carefully taking out my little trunk of treasures and choosing what suits my mood for the day. I tend to get comfy on the couch, turn on the TV, and paint away. I need a show to keep me from getting bored because I tend to squabble about my apartment, leaving little paint smudges on my cabinets or on my laptop. While it's a fun pop of color, it's not a fun clean-up.

One brand I can always count on to have the perfect colors is Essie. Something about those tiny square bottles, adorned with the white cap brings a teensy bit of joy into my life. I'm taking quite a fancy to pastel shades as of late. It's not time to dye Easter eggs just yet, but I will definitely wear these these shades until then...
