go on, risk it

Lately, I've been contemplating the idea of taking leaps. The kinds of leaps that could make me hopeful. Fearful. Brave. I'm beginning to realize there is so much to experience in life. While I can't experience everything. I could at least try for more, and take that pesky scaredy-cat out of me. If I don't, I'm only crippling myself. I could be missing out on wondrous adventures, or possible disasters. The latter shouldn't make me fearful. I'll learn from it. So, here's to covering my eyes and taking the plunge. Whether that be applying to that dream job, singing outside of the shower, or gathering up the courage to make eye contact with a cute guy. Yeah, eye contact doesn't sound like much, but it's all this shy girl has got for now. Baby steps..
