banana chai protein shake

 
I love chai tea lattes and I love protein shakes. So when my friend, Lacy, gave me the recipe for a banana chai protein shake, I was over the moon.

I blended one up this morning and it is seriously addicting. It's filling, low in calories, and easy to make. What more could you ask for when trying to eat healthy? 

Here is the recipe...
1 tray of ice
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 banana
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp caramon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp cinnamon

It's the perfect blend of spices for one of my favorite seasons. A sprinkle of cinnamon makes it even more festive.

  1. What kind of protein do you use? Whey, soy, etc. Also, is there any particular brand that you recommend?

    1. I use Pure Protein Vanilla Cream Whey powder. I also use the GNC Total Lean shake in rich chocolate. So scrumptious.

  2. Hi Brianna! Could you do like a 'what you eat in a day' kind of post? I have been eating really bad lately and not exercising. I recently bought a membership for a nearby gym but I still struggle with what to eat, how much, what is best pre and post workout, etc.. It would help a lot! I found your blog through TIU and really love it!
